During her 14 years at Walmart, Carla held various leadership roles including Project Manager, Senior Manager, and Director, overseeing hundreds of employees and managing multi-million-dollar initiatives.
Carla holds a Business Management degree from Hampton University, an MBA from John Brown University, and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and Scrum Master. Through Sowing Mustard Seeds Ministry, she has hosted several successful food drives and fundraisers, raising over $18,000 in donations over the past few years.
A service-disabled veteran who served in the U.S. Army, Carla is dedicated to community service. She has served on the boards of two nonprofits and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. Carla lives in Charlotte with her husband Derrick and two daughters, Cameryn and Cassidy.
