Carla Reaves has been an active volunteer with Sowing Mustard Seeds Ministry since its inception.
Professionally, she recently joined Windsor Group as a Senior Program Manager, bringing over a decade of experience managing complex projects and leading teams at major corporations like Lowe's and Walmart. During her 14 years at Walmart, Carla held various leadership roles including Project Manager, Senior Manager, and Director, overseeing hundreds of employees and managing multi-million-dollar initiatives.
Carla holds a Business Management degree from Hampton University, an MBA from John Brown University, and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and Scrum Master. Through Sowing Mustard Seeds Ministry, she has hosted several successful food drives and fundraisers, raising over $18,000 in donations over the past few years.
A service-disabled veteran who served in the U.S. Army, Carla is dedicated to community service. She has served on the boards of two nonprofits and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. Carla lives in Charlotte with her husband Derrick and two daughters, Cameryn and Cassidy.

Leveraging his diverse professional background, Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana State, and MPM degree from Western Carolina University, he continually finds impactful ways to apply his skills to the non-profit sector. Additionally, his devotion to family motivates him to care for both his loved ones and the broader community.

As the Chair of the Volunteer Committee with the American Red Cross, Jalisha has demonstrated exemplary service, overseeing and coordinating various volunteer initiatives that contribute to the organization's humanitarian mission.
In her role as the Committee Chair for Health Programs at Walmart GBS, Jalisha has continued her impactful service by spearheading health-focused programs. Her leadership ensures that these initiatives align with corporate goals, positively impacting the well-being of employees and the community.
Jalisha is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta, a renowned sorority committed to sisterhood, scholarship, and service. Her involvement reflects a passion for social responsibility and community upliftment.
Professionally, Jalisha holds the position of Senior Analyst in Walmart's People Service Division, showcasing her expertise in human resources and her dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace environment.
Education remains a priority for Jalisha, as she is currently pursuing her MBA at Grand Canyon.

Her commitment to outreach ministry spans for over ten years, reflecting her deep-rooted belief in the power of service and compassion. Previously, she served as the Assistant Youth Director at a church in New York for five years, where she had the opportunity to engage with and support young people in their spiritual journeys.
Her involvement in outreach ministry has nurtured a profound love for serving God's children, particularly those who are marginalized or facing challenges. She firmly believes that the church is outside of a building and the church is God’s children all over the world hurting for God’s love.
In her role as Secretary, she is dedicated to facilitating effective communication, record-keeping, and organizational tasks to support the Board in achieving its mission and goals. With a heart for service and a commitment to excellence, she is honored to contribute to the vital work of advancing the organization's mission and serving those in need.

Her passion for helping formerly incarcerated individuals reintegrate into society led her to Sowing Mustard Seeds Ministry, where she serves as a grant writer, marketing chair, and co-secretary.

Her work is driven by a desire to empower individuals with the tools and support needed to rebuild their lives and succeed.
